Khusboo Desai Receives Illinois State Bank's Gordon Larsen Scholarship

"We are pleased to present the Gordon Larsen Memorial Scholarship to Khusboo," said Chet Ward, president of Illinois State Bank. "She is a hard-working, talented woman who has a bright future ahead of her. She was successful in her high school career, and we are glad to be able to assist her with her college plans."
The Gordon Larsen Memorial Scholarship was established as a memorial to Illinois State Bank's founding Chairman Gordon Larsen. Larsen served as Chairman of the Board until his tragic death in a car accident in November 2003. The purpose of the scholarship is to highlight and promote the growth of service, leadership, and ethical business practices in young people in the area. The scholarship is awarded by the Algonquin/LITH Rotary Club.
